ATMO BEACON / DATA PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
How AtmoBeacon handles contact details, launch subscriptions and website data.
Data controller
Paweł Czerniakowski is the controller of personal data related to the AtmoBeacon project.
Privacy contact: contact@atmobeacon.com
Website: atmobeacon.com
AtmoBeacon is a pre-launch project. This notice covers the website and the launch-update mailing list. Future purchases and the Windows application will require separate or updated information where appropriate.
Data we collect
If you voluntarily register for launch updates, you provide your email address and an explicit consent. Brevo may also process registration evidence, such as submission and confirmation times, form details, message-delivery metadata and technical data associated with the confirmation process.
To display and secure the website, network infrastructure may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times and browser data. If you contact us by email, we process your message and sender details in order to respond.
Purposes and legal bases
- Launch updates about AtmoBeacon: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)); subscription requires email confirmation (double opt-in).
- Responding to inquiries: our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)), or steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) where applicable.
- Website security and troubleshooting: our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure service (Article 6(1)(f)).
Signing up for launch news does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated third-party marketing.
Double opt-in and withdrawal
After submitting the form, you will receive an email containing a confirmation link. You join the AtmoBeacon – Early Access list only after you click that link. Providing an email address is optional, but necessary if you wish to receive launch emails.
You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting contact@atmobeacon.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Processors and service providers
We use Brevo for the sign-up form, subscriber list and confirmation emails. Our website runs on OVHcloud hosting, and our contact mailbox uses OVHcloud/Zimbra. Service providers process relevant information as required to supply their services under applicable terms and data protection arrangements.
Transfers outside the EEA
Brevo states that its primary data storage infrastructure is located in the European Union. In certain circumstances, service providers or subprocessors may involve access or services outside the European Economic Area. Where such transfers take place, appropriate GDPR safeguards must apply, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. You may contact the controller for more information about applicable arrangements for this service.
Retention periods
We use your email for launch updates while you remain subscribed or until the pre-launch mailing purpose ends. Following an unsubscribe request, we remove the address from the active marketing list without undue delay. Minimal records evidencing consent or its withdrawal may be retained where necessary to demonstrate legal compliance or defend claims, no longer than relevant legal limitation periods require.
Correspondence and technical website data are retained only as necessary for handling an inquiry, resolving an issue or maintaining security, or longer where legally justified.
Your rights
Subject to applicable legal conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Send requests to contact@atmobeacon.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) ↗, or another competent supervisory authority.
Embedded forms, cookies and automated decisions
When the Brevo form is displayed, your browser connects to Brevo's service. Brevo may use technologies necessary to operate and protect its form; see its privacy policy for details. The current AtmoBeacon pre-launch website does not enable its own advertising platform or marketing analytics. If these features are introduced, this notice and any required consent mechanism will be updated.
We do not use the launch-update subscriber list for solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, or profiling for such purposes.
Updates to this notice
We may update this notice when the website, mailing services or applicable requirements change. The latest version is available at atmobeacon.com/privacy/.
